Abstract

The article discusses ways to solve the problems of protecting women from discrimination in the criminal law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Despite the existing legislative norms, practice shows significant difficulties in protecting women's rights due to legal, social and cultural factors. The proposed solutions include improving legislation, tightening liability for gender-motivated crimes and expanding legal protection for vulnerable groups of women. Particular attention is paid to the need to improve the skills of law enforcement officers and create specialized units to deal with crimes against women. Measures to improve access to legal and social assistance, including expanding the network of crisis centers and developing social rehabilitation programs, are also considered. Considerable attention is paid to the need to combat gender stereotypes and increase women's legal awareness. An important aspect is the collection of statistics and monitoring of crimes against women, as well as international cooperation to transfer best practices in combating discrimination.
