Criminal-legal aspects of responsibility for beatings

Abstract

Domestic violence is not only a social, but also a legal problem in today's realities of our republic. The decriminalization of beatings and the transfer of responsibility for them to a number of administrative offenses showed only an increase in such offenses. In this connection, the head of state, as well as the legal community, has repeatedly raised the issue of toughening responsibility for beatings. In the light of the urgent problem, it is necessary to consider the criminal legal aspects of responsibility for beatings.
